Overview

Hilltop Park was a baseball stadium located in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The stadium was located on the block bounded by Broadway, 165th Street, Fort Washington Avenue, and 168th Street. The park's design was influenced by the Baltimore Orioles' home stadium, and its location on a ridge of Manhattan Island earned it the nickname 'Hilltop Park'. The park was managed by the New York Yankees organization, which was led by Jacob Ruppert and Tillinghast L'Hommedieu Huston. The park hosted games for other teams, including the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox. The site where Hilltop Park once stood is occupied by the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
