Los Angeles State Historic Park, affectionately known as LA Historic Park or the Cornfield, is situated in the midst of the bustling city, near the Chinatown and Elysian Park neighborhoods. This former industrial site has been transformed into a thriving open space, sandwiched between Spring Street and the tracks of the Los Angeles Metro A Line. With a unique blend of industrial and natural elements, the park features a variety of amenities, including walking trails, picnic areas, and a large open space for events and activities. The park is home to a number of community gardens, including the Los Angeles Community Garden, and has been recognized as one of the best parks in the city by LA Weekly.
