Little Tokyo Historic District, also known as Little Tokyo, is an ethnically Japanese American district in downtown Los Angeles. It is the cultural center for Japanese Americans in Southern California. The district is home to numerous Japanese restaurants, shops, and cultural institutions, including the Japanese American National Museum and the Little Tokyo Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library. Little Tokyo is also known for its vibrant festivals and events, such as the annual Nisei Week Japanese Festival and the Little Tokyo Holiday Marketplace.
